South Hobart
The Loft at SoHo is located on the doorstep of the thriving South Hobart café strip. Start your day with breakfast and some of the best coffee in Hobart at Bear With Me, Ginger Brown, or Macquarie Street Foodstore. Sample world-famous produce at the local shops (Hill Street Grocer, Salamanca Fresh and Macquarie Supermarket) and meet the local platypus at the serene Rivulet, all just a few minutes’ walk away.
The guesthouse is also walking distance to antique and gift shops, as well as the beautiful historical houses of South Hobart and tourist attractions, such as The Female Factory and the Cascade Brewery.

Getting around
All of Hobart’s major attractions are within easy walking distance (15-20 minutes to the city via Macquarie Street or the picturesque Rivulet), an even easier bike ride (around 10 minutes) or a 10-minute bus ride from the stop just around the corner. Ubers are plentiful in Hobart, quick to arrive, and cost around $10 to get around town.
Despite how connected and close to the Hobart CBD the guesthouse is, South Hobart is a very peaceful and laidback area with a rich sense of community.
